Silo season 2, first images of Rebecca Ferguson locked outside

Apple TV+ has just unveiled the first trailer for season 2 of the post-apocalyptic series Silo, which is incredibly effective, it must be said.

Powerful, enigmatic, perfectly edited, this first trailer plays to the maximum on the mythology of the series by giving the impression of revealing a lot without saying too much. A perfectly executed balancing act.

The second season of the series created by Canadian Graham Yost, adapted from the trilogy of dystopian novels by Hugh Howey, will consist of 10 episodes. The first episode will be available on Friday, November 15, followed by a new episode every Friday until January 17, 2025.

The official synopsis specifies that Silo tells "the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth, who took refuge several meters underground to protect themselves from the outside world, toxic and deadly. But no one knows when or why the silo was built and anyone who tries to find the answer is exposed to fatal consequences. Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer searching for answers after a loved one is murdered. She uncovers a mystery far more complex than she ever imagined. Unlike lies, the truth might just kill you."

Series lead Rebecca Ferguson will of course be back, as will Tim Robbins and Harriet Walter.
