A real gateway to the future cinematographic universe of ET's father, Sugarland Express remains all the same a film marked by its time, quite dispensable in view of his filmography. It remains nonetheless a pleasant work to which the years have given a certain charm.
Its re-release in 4K with HDR Dolby Vision on December 4th by Universal is the perfect opportunity to discover it, if you haven't already, especially since it remains fairly invisible on television.
