Fallen Angels 4K: Wong or Right?

A Hong Kong film directed by Wong Kar-wai released in 1995, Fallen Angels will leave no one indifferent. Originally, it was supposed to be the third part of Chungking Express (1994), but the director chose to separate it and make it a standalone film. Both films will be released in 4K Ultra HD on December 11th by The Jokers. Just like Happy Together.

A true dive into the heart of a nocturnal and disillusioned Hong Kong, Fallen Angels is of undeniable formal beauty. The last contract of a hitman that does not go as planned, a nocturnal and surreal wandering, a film that is both silent and very talkative… There are many things in, without doubt, one of the least loved films of its author.

Once again, Wong Kar-wai does not leave you indifferent. Disconcerting, poetic and radical, these Fallen Angels are to be rediscovered urgently. This is good timing: pre-orders for this 4K remastering are open. With HDR Dolby Vision label to boot.
