If this third installment, soon to be back on sale in 4K remastered via the indie publisher Le chat qui fume, is so special, it is because it brings together a high-flying all-star cast. We remember that Police Story 2 introduced the character of May, Kevin's (Jackie Chan) girlfriend, the third installment introduces Jessica, an Interpol agent played by Michelle Yeoh (who will be entitled to her own spin-off later).
The first film in the saga not to be directed by Jackie Chan (but by Stanley Tong) brings together three of the biggest Hong Kong stars in an orgy of stunts, each more amazing than the last. A must-have, expected to be released in 2025.
