First evolution proposed by the JBL MA710 compared to the JBL MA310/MA510, it is a 7.2 specimen and no longer 5.2. On the menu a greater power, and above all, significantly evolved technical characteristics.
JBL MA710, main specifications££££
Like the MA310/510, the JBL MA710 is still built on a Class D amplification. This delivers a power of 7 x 110 W under 8 ohms (against 5 x 75 W for the JBL MA510). We of course find the automatic calibration of the group called EZ Set EQ, to be used with the microphone of an iOS or Android device (for the latter, the brand recommends the use of an external microphone). The rest of the specifications mention Dolby Atmos and DTS-X decoders, plus a 192 kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter. Namely, it is possible to use the seven channels in 7.2 or 5.2.2 configuration.
