BenQ W5800, GP520 and GV50 projectors, stars of the PAVS 2024 show

Back to the Paris Audio Video Show 2024 which was held at the Palais des Congrès on October 26 and 7, for a focus on the stand of the Taiwanese manufacturer BenQ which presented (almost) all of its new models. With Home Cinema demonstration sessions that were always full, which are more interactive with the presence of the brand's managers, it was most certainly one of the flagship stands of the show.

BenQ will have once again marked the 2024 edition of the Paris Audio Video Show with, according to the many visitors interviewed at the end of several demonstrations, an image quality displayed as unparalleled.

All the new Home Cinema references were demonstrated at PAVS 2024, except for the new BenQ W2720i announced the day after the show (see our news BenQ W2720i, 4K LED video projector, Google TV, HDR10+, 2,500 lumens…, click to find out all about its specifications). Starting with the BenQ W5800, the brand's flagship intended for lovers of big and beautiful images wishing to reproduce a real cinema spectacle at home. It was this [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] model that was present in the screening room.

On the stand was still present the BenQ GPS520 (BenQ GP520, 4K LED video projector, Google TV, 2,600 lumens, click to find out all about its specifications) recently unveiled by the manufacturer, a hybrid UHD 4K model with technical characteristics highly prized by video game enthusiasts and capable of responding with great assets for a Home Cinema session. Its design (see the black cubic product in the photos below) allows it to be easily installed in a living room, to be easily transported to a games room, to enjoy a bright image everywhere, sufficiently for viewing in ambient light conditions. It was in these conditions that it was presented at PAVS 24, outside the dark room, in the ambient conditions of the Palais des Congrès.

Another new product on the stand, the BenQ GV50 [abc]1 080p[/abc] (see the circular white product with its integrated carrying handle in the photo above), a nomadic specimen because it is portable (see our news BenQ GV50 Google TV, mini portable laser video projector). Discreet (it easily slips into a bag), practical (Android TV operating system), wireless ([abc]AirPlay[/abc], [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc], [abc]Bluetooth[/abc]) and richly equipped with connectivity, it also offers exceptional ergonomics with 360° image rotation and the ability to tilt the base to enjoy an image perfectly in line with your eyes while the video projector is placed on its side. The icing on the cake? Its [abc]2.1[/abc] sound equipment with a total power of 18 W transforms the BenQ GV50 into a perfect network speaker.

In short, whatever your needs, the BenQ video projector range for the end of 2024 provides an answer.
