We can be polite or dishonest, but it is clear that there is more rhythm, embodiment and density in this trailer for The Agency than in almost all of The Bureau des légendes, which does not detract from its undeniable qualities, the French series created by Éric Rochant is also one of the editorial team's forever favorites. The actors are powerful, Michael Fassenbender is inhabited and the direction is remarkable. If the series is of the same content as this short trailer, the US remake may well be even better than the original.

Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave, Shame) plays a secret CIA agent who has been ordered to abandon his life as a secret agent and return to London Station. When the love he left behind resurfaces, the romance is rekindled. His career, true identity, and mission collide with his feelings, throwing them both into a deadly game.
Richard Gere, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Hugh Bonneville, Dominic West, and Harriet Sansom Harris co-star in the series produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov. The project is a "reimagining" of the French series The Bureau, which ran for five seasons and followed the daily lives of France's external security services, the DGSE.
