While it was previously possible to stream Xbox games available on the Xbox Game Pass service without owning a console, you couldn’t do the same with games you own. But that was before.

“Starting today, we’re excited to announce that Game Pass Ultimate members can stream select games they already own via smart TVs and browsers, on compatible devices like smartphones, PCs, and tablets,” said Ashley McKissick, Corporate VP, Xbox Experiences & Platforms Engineering. “This feature is available in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta) is available.” The feature is available in beta testing on recent Samsung Smart TVs and select Amazon Fire TV devices, and will expand soon: This is just the beginning: next year, the feature will come to Xbox consoles and the Xbox app for Windows,” McKissick adds.
50 games are supported so far, with more to come in the coming months.
