Connected ring, too dangerous and too difficult for Apple?

Oura, a pioneering manufacturer in the field of connected rings, explains why Apple is unlikely to come and compete with it.

In an interview with CNBC, Tom Hale, CEO of Oura, gave his opinion on the possible arrival of Apple in the connected ring sector. As a reminder, Oura is a pioneer in the field, having launched its first Smart Ring in 2015.

The word to Tom Hale, CEO of Oura££££

Hale's opinion corroborates a previous rumor, reporting that Apple does not want to launch this type of product because it would risk cannibalizing the sales of its Apple Watch, a wearable with similar features. He added however that such a project will not see the light of day because "it is difficult to produce this type of product properly".
