The Link10n features the exclusive Marantz Musical Mastering process. The latter first converts all signals to DSD 256 (11.2 MHz) using two master clocks, then performs a direct conversion of the 1-bit data into an analog stream, without passing through a digital-to-analog converter.
Finally, the chassis is reinforced with a triple metal layer (2 x 1 mm), the top cover is 12 mm thick, the side panels 16 mm. Of course, the front panel and remote control also adopt the aluminum material.
