Dali IO-8, exclusive 50 mm membrane££££
Designed as a pair of portable [abc]Hi-Fi[/abc] speakers, the headphones have 50 mm drivers - the largest in their category - equipped with the Danish manufacturer's exclusive paper fiber cone membrane technology, for a natural and detailed rendering. Also worth noting, a "bridged" Class D amplification and IP52 certification authorizing the use of the Dali IO-8 in light rain.
Dali IO-8, active noise reduction and sound profiles££££
On the noise reduction side, three modes are available: ANC on, Transparency, and ANC off. Namely, the Dali IO-8 offers two sound profiles: the Hi-Fi and Bass modes respectively allow for a faithful reproduction of the artist's intention or a more dynamic sound with reinforced bass. Finally, on the design and comfort side, the IO-8 ear cushions are made of genuine leather, while the surfaces of the shells have a brushed anodized finish (on the base of the headband and the back of the shells).

Another interesting possibility offered by the Dali IO-8 headset, in addition to the Bluetooth 5.2 APT-X HD/Adaptive functionality, is its use in wired mode via the supplied 3.5 mm mini-Jack/USB-C cable. In this last configuration, the [abc]Hi-Res Audio[/abc] certification is in place with file management up to 96 kHz/24 bits.
True to its philosophy, the Dali IO-8 headset cannot be controlled by an application. Fortunately, the touch controls allow one-handed control to change tracks, manage the volume, etc. In wireless mode, the autonomy announced by Dali for the IO-8 shows approximately 35 hours without active noise reduction activated, 30 hours with. Last details, support for various voice assistants is on the program and the Dali IO-8 can be placed flat to facilitate its transport.
