It's hard to bring real new features when you release a series of iPhones every year, but the iPhone 17 could bring the little boost that we only see every three or four years at Apple.
iPhone17, a major design change?££££
There is of course the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air that we hear more and more about, but the other models in the range could also stand out for their design, starting with the basic iPhone 17, which would benefit from a completely new layout for its camera module on the back. According to the Chinese "leaker" Digital Chat Station, with supporting image, the photo sensors would thus be arranged horizontally at the top of the device, unlike the usual square positioning in the upper left corner.

The advantages of this new pattern are multiple, starting with an optimization of the placement of electronic components inside. Better image capture also, with the ultra-wide-angle lens in the center, and improved spatial video capture (for the Apple Vision Pro) thanks to the positioning of the modules imitating the pupillary distance between human eyes. Finally, note a more symmetrical aesthetic, and better balance of the iPhone when it is placed on a flat surface.
