Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, new details

While Apple is expected to launch its very first "Slim" model, the so-called iPhone Air, next fall, Samsung could take the lead as early as early 2025.

There has indeed been talk for a few weeks of an ultra-thin model in Samsung's Galaxy S25 range, rumored to be announced at the end of January. Rumors recently corroborated by other "leakers".

The famous Ice Universe thus claims that the thickness of this Galaxy S25 Slim will be a little less than 7 mm, compared to the thinnest Galaxy S24 which measures 7.6 millimeters. The iPhone 17 Air could display 6.25 mm thickness. Ice Universe also anticipates a high-quality camera module, an astonishing feat for such a thin device. Another "leaker", Debayan Roy, provides details on this subject: 200 Mpxls main camera (Isocell HP5), 50 Mpxls ultra-wide-angle (Isocell JN5) and 50 Mpxls telephoto lens (Isocell JN5) with 3.5x optical zoom.

He also mentions a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (the same as for the other Galaxy S25) and a battery whose capacity would vary between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh, probably a lithium-silicone model with a high density for a reduced size so as not to sacrifice performance.
