CES 25 > Sega Mini Cabinet Unveiled at CES in Las Vegas

Happiness for retro video game fans with a new “mini console” resulting from a collaboration between Sega and MyArcade.

Sega had recently made it clear that it no longer wanted to launch mini retro consoles like the Mega Drive Mini, but that didn't mean that we were done with these pretty machines for traveling through nostalgia.

The company has indeed teamed up with MyArcade (the Atari GameStation, among others) to launch a mini gaming machine, most likely in the Micro Player series, if we are to believe the still incomplete illustration provided by the manufacturer. Incomplete, because the product will be unveiled at the CES show in Las Vegas, which will be held from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas.

Also, the few game titles shown in the illustration, Sonic, The Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage, OutRun, and Golden Axe, suggest that the machine will offer games (apparently around a hundred) from the catalog of the 16-bit MegaDrive console.
