According to Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via macrumors), Apple is preparing to launch a new Apple TV box this year, cheaper than the previous Apple TV 4K model released in 2022 and currently available at $129 ($169 in the US).
New Apple TV, faster and cheaper?££££
Kuo estimates that the device will be sold for less than $100, probably $99, like the initial price of the very first Apple TVs. In France, the Apple TV was launched at €120, so this is around the price that the new version should be marketed in our country. This product should naturally be equipped with a faster chip, Wi-Fi 6E compatibility and perhaps even a camera to take video calls.
