CES 25 > Samsung QN900F: The Frame 8K TV that doesn't say its name

Mentioned in our generic news on the Samsung 2025 TV range (see our publication (MAJ) CES 25 > Samsung Oled, Mini LED and Lifestyle 2025 4K/8K Ultra HD TV range), the Samsung QN900F design series takes up the graphic codes of The Frame televisions but with an 8K Ultra HD panel.

Before returning in detail to the Samsung QN900F TVs, let's zoom in on their flagship technical characteristics. Specifications, apart from the design and the absence of a One Connect Wireless box (here the electronics and connectivity are integrated into the television), which they share in their vast majority with the Samsung QN990F screens.

The obvious particularity of the Samsung QN900F televisions therefore lies in its aesthetic proposition close to the Samsung The Frame models. The QN900F differs from the latter by the absence of the presence sensor which is used to automatically turn the television on/off when it is used in art board mode, depending on whether the room is occupied or not.

The rest of the specifications mention a Mini LED backlighting system (number of zones unknown per diagonal at the time of writing) and a Glare Free anti-reflective coating. Not to mention a powerful processor (less than that of the QN990F TVs however) for a stunning result of the 8K Upscaling Pro process (see photo above and below).

Similarly, it is this chip that provides the AI Mode features allowing the TV to automatically select an image and sound preset, previously operated by the user, depending on the nature of the content displayed (Sport, films, series, etc.). The same applies to the AI Upscaling Pro, Auto HDR Remastering Pro, AI Color Booster Pro, Adaptive SoundPro and AVA Pro processes. The embedded artificial intelligence finely optimizes all these parameters for a magnified rendering of images and sound.

Samsung QN900F, One UI 2025££££ We must also mention the integration of the Art Store from Samsung The Frame Lifestyle TVs and the new Samsung One UI interface closer to that of the brand's smartphones (see photo below). Namely, Samsung One UI will be accessible by the end of 2025 to owners of a Samsung Smart TV from 2024, and even 2023, modulo the features not supported on these models due to insufficient processor resources.

Below, a reminder of the Samsung QN900F series:

• Samsung TQ65QN900F (65'', 165 cm, Ultra HD 8K, Glare Free, Art Store, metal frame, One UI)
