Portable consoles seem to be regaining their prestige. The Nintendo Switch hybrid has worked very well to the point that its successor Switch 2 has now been officially announced (see our news Nintendo Switch 2 officially unveiled), and the "PC consoles" (Asus ROG Ally X, Lenovo Legion Go S, Steam Deck, etc.), with impressive sales figures, are now blooming like crocuses in spring.
D-pad inspired by Xbox joypads££££
We are therefore very curious to know what a portable Xbox, already officially announced, could bring while waiting for news this year. In the meantime, let's take a look at what it could look like via a concept signed by designer Reynard Seah. In keeping with Microsoft's philosophy, this version adopts a design that is both simple and functional, with a beautiful 16/10 screen and rounded edges that are apparently pleasant to the touch. The D-pad has that angular feel that's typical of Elite controllers, and the overall ergonomics seem to be inspired by the beloved Xbox joypads.
