According to indiscretions collected by the Korean media Pulse, Samsung Electronics could join forces with OpenAI to develop an "AI" television equipped with ChatGPT, Dall-E or even Whisper.

This television would thus offer personalized recommendations, a virtual assistant or real-time translations. The viewer could for example ask for information on the actors or the story during a film, or obtain a list of similar works. As a reminder, Samsung has already shown similar features at the CES 2025 show (during the presentation of Vision AI) allowing for example to learn more about the clothes worn by people on the screen, or to translate foreign subtitles into their native language. Not to mention the announcement of its collaboration with Microsoft to take advantage of some of the features of the Copilot assistant.
