Philips TAB6100: 2.1 soundbar, 200 W, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

In addition to its new Oled TV series Philips OLED760, Philips OLED810, Philips OLED910 and Philips OLED950, Mini LED Philips MLED910 and Philips MLED950 and QLED Philips PUS9000, the brand's European conference in Barcelona is also an opportunity to discover three new soundbars, the Philips TAB6100, Philips TAB8200 and Philips TAB8500. Presentation of the first named before returning later to the other two.

So we start our overview with the Philips TAB6100, the most affordable of the three.

Philips TAB6100, main specifications££££

The Philips TAB6100 is a [abc]2.1[/abc] model, with external wireless subwoofer, compatible with [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc], [abc]DTS:X[/abc] and DTS Virtual:X. The total power delivered is 200 W: 2 x 40 W for the two 5.7 cm wideband speakers + 120 W for the subwoofer. The Philips TAB6100 also has [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.4 LE compatibility. The elliptical design of the Philips B6100 and its dimensions, 65 mm high by 105 mm deep and 600 mm long, make it particularly suitable for televisions with diagonals of 48" to 55 inches.

Philips TAB6100, connectivity££££

In addition to Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, the Philips TAB6100 sports connectivity with an [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 [abc]eARC[/abc] connector. The Philips TAB6100 is controlled via transport buttons on its top associated with colored [abc]LEDs[/abc] to view the selected source. But it can also be managed via the remote control provided or the Philips Entertainment application.
