After the iPhone 13 Pro, then the iPhone 14 Pro and of course the iPhone 15 Pro, today it's the iPhone 16 Pro that's in the spotlight in Apple's "filmed with iPhone" promotional series, which this time gives carte blanche to director Michael Gracey (Better Man, the superb biopic of Robbie Williams).

Named I Made a Mixtape for You, the short film pays tribute to the Chinese New Year, lightly evoking the family pressure to quickly find a match for the wedding, in an explosive mix between an oversized musical comedy (the director is used to the genre) and a Back to the Future-style time travel. All captured by the excellent video and audio capabilities of the latest iPhone.
If the short film is magnificent thanks to the iPhone, we should not underestimate the (huge) team and the professional means deployed for the occasion. As usual in this series, a small making of is available for fans of behind the scenes.
