Rumors have been circulating for a while now about the replacement of the iPhone Plus reference within the iPhone 17 range by a new ultra-thin model, possibly named iPhone Air.

According to the Korean media Sisa Journal, the device would be in a similar price range to that of its "predecessor" (the iPhone Plus), starting at €1,119 if we consider the price of the current iPhone 16 Plus. As a reminder, the device would mainly be distinguished by its design, since its technical characteristics will not be on par with the Pro and Pro Max models. Otherwise, in terms of thickness, the same source mentions a size of 6.25 mm, corroborating Bloomberg's previous rumors on the subject.
For comparison, the current base iPhone 16 measures 7.8mm thick, and Apple's thinnest model ever released was the iPhone 6 at 6.9mm. So the iPhone 17 Air would be significantly better...
