The “Batmobile” by Renault

Renault recently presented the Renault Filante Record 2025, an electric concept car with record fuel consumption and incidentally the little sister of the Tim Burton-style Batmobile.

It may be by accident that Renault's latest electric concept car, the Renault Filante Record 2025, looks a lot like Tim Burton's Batman vehicle, since the French manufacturer was mainly inspired by vintage models for the design of the car: 40 CV des Records from 1925, Nervasport des Records from 1934 or Étoile Filante from 1956.

The Renault Filante Record 2025 made of Scalmolloy££££

A body optimized for maximum aerodynamic efficiency since the vehicle aims to break all records for consumption and autonomy for an electric car. The car weighs just under a ton, including the battery which weighs just under 600 kg, a very low dry weight achieved thanks to a solid aluminum, steel and carbon alloy called Scalmolloy.

Even the air circulation system is integrated into the chassis, in order to ventilate the passenger compartment without requiring an air conditioning system to shave a few kilos and optimize consumption.
