For owners of a Samsung 2024 Smart TV without the myCanal application, simply go to the Tizen application store and select the myCanal app to install it. For those who have purchased a Samsung 2024 Smart TV since the beginning of February, there is normally nothing to do, the application is immediately available alongside Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc. And all the myCanal features are there: Star Over, profile management, Canal VOD, Expert mode (Editor's note: the F1 championship resumes on March 16 with the Australian GP in Melbourne)...
About two weeks after this first news, on February 17, Canal+ announced its availability on more than 25 million Samsung Smart TVs across more than 40 territories in Europe, Asia and the French overseas territories.

“We are delighted to renew and further strengthen our partnership with Canal+. With the Canal+ app available on our Smart TVs in all of the group’s territories, we can offer our customers even more exceptional content from their apps,” said Alex Hole, SVP & GM at Samsung Europe.
As a reminder, the myCanal application is available on all Samsung Smart TVs since the 20218 range. 2017 vintage televisions no longer benefit from myCanal since January 31, 2025 due to the incompatibility of Tizen 2017 with the new security measures implemented by the encrypted channel.
