The device features patented proprietary networking technology TrueMesh (to automatically route data through the fastest path on the network), TrueRoam (to connect users to the best available Eero as they move between floors, rooms, or buildings), and TrueChannel (automatically selects the optimal channel for a device while working in the background to improve network resiliency) and enables wireless transfer speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps and wired throughput of up to 2.3 Gbps through its two 2.5 Gigabit [abc]Ethernet[/abc] ports. The Eero 7's compact design means it can easily be installed on a shelf or on the TV stand, next to or under the screen. Namely, one Eero 7 unit covers up to 190 square meters and three modules reach 560 square meters. Amazon specifies that it is possible to connect as many Eero 7 units together to benefit from coverage in the largest of castles.
