It's on April 2 that we will learn more about the technical capabilities and possibilities of Nintendo's new Switch 2 console. But the first teaser from the Japanese manufacturer has already stimulated the imagination of a designer known under the pseudonym Jar.
A second USB-C port to accessorize the Nintendo Switch 2?££££
Indeed, the machine has two [abc]USB[/abc]-C ports, so why wouldn't one of them be used to connect accessories that would literally transform the console? Jar has thus imagined the addition of a rotating webcam (photo below), or better yet, the addition of an additional screen. For what purpose, you might ask?
A second screen to emulate Nintendo DS games?££££
Well simply to emulate the games of the old Nintendo DS console, requiring two superimposed screens including a touch screen, a combination that makes it difficult to port the great classics of this machine to introduce them to a new generation. This second screen would thus connect above the Switch 2 and could even fold up to protect the machine when it is not in use.
A concept not so far-fetched therefore and which, we can always dream, has a chance of materializing.
