Opera GX, the browser in tune

A quick look at the Opera GX internet browser, equipped with very useful functions, both for productivity and leisure.

Launched in 2019, the Opera GX internet browser, the "gamer" version of Opera, continues to appeal to users (especially gamers but not only) thanks to its optimized ergonomics.

Opera GX, control sidebar££££

It is distinguished in particular by a sidebar on the left grouping your shortcuts and applications, as well as two tools allowing you to control the amount of resources monopolized by Opera GX in order to avoid consuming all the RAM memory and bandwidth, and thus let other people use the same connection to play, stream or watch video content.

Opera GX, optimization and structuring of navigation££££

These tools also allow you to identify the most demanding tabs (useful when you have hundreds of them open) and to simply clear the cache, cookies, tabs or browsing history. The browsing experience is also customizable with shaders, background music, keyboard sounds, icons, stickers, fonts or wallpapers. Not to mention the Workspaces feature to group together different groups of thematic tabs, some related to work, others to entertainment.

Aria, integrated artificial intelligence and customization of the user interface££££

Finally, let's note the integration of Aria, an AI personal assistant that combines the best of Google Gemini and Imagen to generate images, voice syntheses, chat summaries or write texts to help refine your emails. Lastly, the Opera GX sidebar is flexible to adapt to everyone's needs and habits. It is therefore possible to pin ChatGPT, WhatsApp, Discord, one or more music streaming applications, audio-video, an audio player…

Similarly, GX Mods allow you to fully customize the appearance of the browser. Finally, the My Flow function provides the link between the mobile and computer versions of Opera GX, for example to send notes, files and photos to study, correct or rework later.
