Apple C1 modem, optimized consumption££££
Indeed, this component has just been unveiled since it equips the brand new iPhone 16e. Named C1, the modem contributes greatly to the autonomy of the smartphone thanks to the optimized management of its consumption. Apple even claims that the iPhone 16e has the longest autonomy of all its models with a 6.1" screen (iPhone 15 and iPhone 16). In the same way that the proprietary Apple Silicon chips have allowed Apple to no longer depend on Intel, the C1 (and its future successors) will allow the company to gradually separate itself from Qualcomm.
