Rumors already saw the term Ultra attached to the iPhone 15, then to the iPhone 16, but no. The same rumor resurfaces for the iPhone 17 and this time it may be the right one.
iPhone 17 series, name change££££
This is what the Korean blogger "leaker" Yeux1122 reveals, explaining that the iPhone 17 Pro Max would be renamed iPhone 17 Ultra, just to further differentiate all the models in the line. The Apple smartphones for the fall of 2025 would therefore be called:
• iPhone 17 • iPhone 17 Pro
• iPhone 17 Air (new ultra-thin model)
• iPhone 17 Ultra
The Ultra version, in addition to the traditional larger screen than the Pro version, will be distinguished by a smaller Dynamic Island, a more efficient battery and a vapor chamber (or heat pipe) cooling system.
