Google Assistant is over

Google's voice assistant will soon be retiring, giving way to Gemini, the tech giant's generative artificial intelligence system.

Google recently announced the end of its Google Assistant voice assistant, launched in 2016 and since integrated into all of the brand's products.

Gemini, your digital twin££££

It's the sprightly Gemini that will take its place, with a deployment planned by the end of the year. A generative artificial intelligence system launched a little over a year ago, Gemini will replace Google Assistant via software updates on products that connect to the smartphone - headsets, watches, etc. - as well as devices such as cars, tablets, speakers, screens and televisions.

The transition was more or less predictable when you consider that downloading the Gemini application on Android smartphones forced the deactivation of Google Assistant.
