JBL PartyBox 520, the specifications££££
The technical characteristics of the JBL PartyBox 520 speaker mention the [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.4 Auracast function to enjoy music content stored on a suitable mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer, portable game console, etc.). The Auracast function allows easy stereo or multiroom/multi-speaker pairing and almost unlimited number. Thus, it is possible to combine two or more JBL PartyBox speakers to increase the sound volume tenfold. Auracast compatibility also ensures superior listening quality and improved battery life. It is even possible to enjoy lossless audio files by connecting a computer or a portable audio player via the USB-C port. Finally, the connectivity also includes an XLR input for connecting professional sound equipment or a musical instrument. Also worth mentioning is the IPX4 certification, a battery life of 15 hours (quick charge function with 2 additional hours of listening time for 10 minutes of charging), LEDs for dynamic light shows, an ergonomic telescopic handle and casters for easy movement of the JBL PartyBox 520. The maximum power output is 400 W, a remarkable figure for a speaker with a (removable) battery. Finally, AI Sound Boost processing (to optimize the signal in real time and eliminate distortion on low frequencies regardless of the volume) is present and control is provided through the JBL PartyBox application and/or an interface with transport buttons located at the top of the speaker.
JBL PartyBox Encore, the specifications££££
The JBL PartyBox Encore, cubic in shape and significantly more compact, also offers a sound and light show synchronized to the music and, still, around 15 hours of autonomy (quick charge function with 80 minutes of additional listening time for 10 minutes of charging) via its removable battery. There is an ergonomic telescopic handle to easily move the JBL PartyBox Encore, but no wheels. The [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.4 Auracast function to enjoy music content stored on a suitable mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer, portable game console, etc.) is of course included. It still allows for easy and virtually unlimited stereo or multiroom/multi-speaker pairing. This means it's possible to combine two or more JBL PartyBox speakers to boost the sound volume tenfold. Auracast compatibility also ensures superior listening quality and improved battery life.
It's also worth mentioning a wireless microphone included.
