According to the latest indiscretions collected by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, hundreds of engineers are still working on it, but it will be a few more years before the function can be integrated into Apple's connected watch.
In addition to blood sugar levels, this new sensor would detect the warning signs of diabetes, allowing users to take the necessary steps to prevent the disease from developing.
