Porsche 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne, new multimedia features and Dolby Atmos on board

Dolby Atmos, voice assistants, and other new features are coming to select Porsche vehicles in June.

The new Porsche 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne delivered next June will benefit from multimedia improvements for a better audio and interactive experience on the road. Thus, the PCM (Porsche Communication Management) functionality gains in performance (speed) and gives access to the Porsche App Center.

Porsche cars, Alexa inside££££

The Porsche App Center inaugurated on the 100% electric Macan model is now coming to the other ranges, giving access to [abc]streaming[/abc] platforms (music, video, podcasts), news, press and weather services. Also note the availability of the Amazon Alexa assistant which complements the Porsche Voice Pilot. In addition to the usual Alexa functions, remote control of your garage door opening and management of home functions are accessible. Finally, Alexa can be activated directly from the PCM, while driving, or even by voice.

And for the first time, vehicles equipped with a premium audio system by Bose & Burmester feature Dolby Atmos immersive sound technology, provided that a suitable audio source is used via a compatible application available on the Porsche App Center. Lastly, the Porsche Connect package, which brings together all these possibilities, is now available as standard for a period of 10 years.
