We've been hearing about Nintendo's new console for a while now, and in recent months, leaks, indiscretions, and sneak previews have intensified.
Nintendo Switch 2, the rumors confirmed££££
While the Switch 2 was finally unveiled in detail on April 2nd, let's take a quick look at the features that have been confirmed through our published news, just to show once again that reporting this kind of rumor is more often useful than futile:
• 4K resolution in TV mode
• Upscaling to reach this resolution
• Backward compatibility with Switch games (official information at the time, for that matter)
• Summer release (early June, it's almost summer!), and a decent price range
• Controllers with magnetic attachment and "mouse" function
• 120 hertz LCD screen
