Philips PUS9000 The One TV: new specifications and price revealed

After the reveal of the indicative prices of the Philips OLED810 and Philips OLED910 TV series, it's time to reveal those of the Philips The One or Philips PUS9000 series, which are primarily focused on value for money. The Philips PUS9000 The One QLED TV series has six models: the Philips 43PUS9000 (43'', 109 cm), Philips 50PUS9000 (50'', 127 cm), Philips 55PUS9000 (55'', 140 cm), Philips 65PUS9000 (60'', 165 cm), Philips 75PUS9000 (75'', 191 cm) and Philips 85PUS9000 (85'', 216 cm).

Philips PUS9000 TV, P5 Gen7 processor and 144 Hz panels££££

The Philips PUS9000 screens of course benefit from the P5 Gen7 processor combined with artificial intelligence for a magnified [abc]HDR[/abc] experience through Quantum Dots nanocrystal technology (QLED) and a 10-bit 144 Hz LCD panel and a Direct [abc]LED[/abc] [abc]Global Dimming[/abc] backlighting system. Compatibility with [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc], HDR [abc]HLG[/abc] and [abc]HDR10+[/abc] technologies is also included.

Philips MPUS9000, 2.0 or 2.1 sound section depending on the diagonal££££

The Philips PUS9000 TVs have a [abc]2.0[/abc] sound section with a power of 20 W on the 43" model, [abc]2.1[/abc] with a power of 40 W on the 50"/55"/65"" and [abc]2.1[/abc] 50 W on the 75" and 85" models. For the latter, the subwoofer is placed at the rear of the TV. The Intellisound function automatically refines the audio settings depending on the nature of the content displayed on the screen. It is also worth noting the compatibility [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc], [abc]DTS:X[/abc] and DTS Play-Fi. Connectivity mentions the [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc] 5 and [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.2 certifications.

Philips PUS9000 TV, 3-sided Ambilight function££££

Similarly, the three-sided Ambilight function is present. As a reminder, for two years now, the latter has managed the color diodes placed at the back of the TV, around the edge of the panel, independently and no longer by group of diodes, for a significantly more precise synchronization with the images displayed on the screen. The new Ambilight Aurora gallery functionality, rich in numerous embedded images and videos, allows for as many exclusive artistic atmospheres in your living room.

Philips PUS9000 TV, Smart TV Titan OS££££

No Google TV or Android TV on the Philips PUS9000 The One screens, but the new Smart TV Titan OS 2025 interface developed in partnership with the European company of the same name and launched last year on the Philips PML9049 Mini LED and Philips PUS8909 LED TV series. This operating system, created by former employees of Disney, Roku, Rakuten, KKR, etc., allows access to the biggest streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, Pluto TV, DAZN, etc.). Likewise, it integrates the new Moments application allowing the rapid transfer to the big screen of your favorite photos stored on your smartphone and the addition of visual and sound effects, etc.

Good news for gamers, the latest version of Titan OS offers the Game Bar 2.0 providing access to the Cloud Gaming services Blacknut and Boosteroid. This also allows users to quickly access game-related settings and change them on the fly without wasting time, for example, by choosing various game profiles (FPS, RPG, etc.). MEMC Gaming motion compensation processing and HDR Dolby Vision Gaming 120 Hz offer an exceptional video gaming experience. Namely, the Game Bar displays an fps counter (number of frames per second) to best configure a game's settings and FreeSync Premium certification. Finally, the Amazon Alexa voice assistant is integrated.

Philips PUS9000 TV, 4 HDMI 2.1££££

The Philips PUS9000 screens have four [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 [abc]HDCP[/abc] 2.3 inputs with 4K [abc]HFR[/abc]/120, [abc]VRR[/abc] and [abc]ALLM[/abc] functions. eARC is also included. There are also two [abc]USB[/abc] ports (one of which is 3.0), an [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port, a [abc]CI+ port[/abc], an [abc]optical[/abc] output and a 3.5 mm mini-jack auxiliary output. Lastly, the 43", 50", 55" and 65" models have a central leg, while the 75" and 85" models have a double leg.
