The Denon AH-C840NCW True Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are the successors to the Denon AH-C830NCW, which were released in 2021. At the time, these were the brand's first True Wireless models.

Like their predecessors, the Denon AH-C840NCW feature a new-generation active noise cancellation (ANC) system developed by Denon, supported in particular by two microphones in each earpiece. However, it is adaptive here and therefore adapts to the intensity of the external noise(s). A Transparency mode is also available, as is motion detection to automatically start or pause music playback when the earpieces are removed/replaced.

IPX4 certified (usable in the rain or during intense sports training), the Denon AH-C840NCW earphones come with silicone tips available in three sizes. In terms of battery life, there are up to 7 hours with the noise reduction activated, 10 hours without it, and respectively up to 24 hours and 35 hours in total with the charging case. A quick 5-minute charge offers an additional hour of listening time.

For sound, 12mm FreeEdge Premium drivers are on the menu and phone calls are handled by two finely positioned microphones in each earpiece to minimize background noise and emphasize voice.
