Soon available in stores, the Hisense 55A8G (55 '', 140 cm) television will therefore be the only representative of its series, like the Hisense 55A85G model.
The main specifications
In short, the specifications of this television are identical to those of the Hisense 55A85G in all respects (see our news (Update) TV Oled Ultra HD 4K Hisense A85G, 55 "and 65" on the menu) with one major difference close: a native 50 Hz Oled panel and not 100 hertz. For Hisense, therefore, it is a question of offering a first price Oled TV. € by resellers by the end of the year, i.e. at the same price on the LG 55A1.
The Hisense 55A8G TV is therefore compatible with HDR10, HDR10 + , HDR HLG and HDR Dolby Vision and benefits from MEMC motion compensation with Picture Criteria Index 2500PCI. Accuracy given by Hisense for gamers, the Input Lag is announced at worst at 35 ms (below 20 ms on the A9G) in Game mode.
There is also a 2.1 sound section which delivers a total power of 60 W and Dolby Atmos compatibility. Filmmaker mode and Imax Enhanced certification are still not in place and the Oled panel is not of the Evo type.
Smart TV function
The Vidaa U 5.0 Smart TV function is of course present, ditto for the UPnP (DLNA) multimedia gateway function, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and VP9 management. Finally, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, in addition to Vidaa Voice are also on the menu. We can also cite the functions HBBTV, Time Shifting and PVR. All implemented by a Quad Core processor.
The connection
The connection has four HDMI 2.1 inputs with eARC, ALLM and VRR functions (from 48 Hz to 60 Hz), a Composite, 1 stereo mini-jack 3.5 mm, two USB ports, a CI + port, an Ethernet port plus an optical output.
